How is that possible when prisons are meant to be locked down and not having any visitors?

And the fact it is in 14 prisons would suggest it has been spread to them by someone. Maybe a doctor or someone from the government checking the prisons is spreading it.

And some of the older prisoners, with life time sentences might have caught the virus on purpose. Its just a theory, but it makes sense.

Because if they catch it, and they are old, it will most likely kill them. Now they can die quickly instead of just having to spend the rest of their life in a cell.
