how are australian hospitals doing then? Things are about to get heavy in the uk, I a curious though why the government warns youngsters not to get coronavirus yet the plan seems to be to accept 75% of people will get it and be immune for the function of herd immunity!

Not sure about Australian hospitals. Last week the doctors and nurses were screaming for more supplies like masks and gowns. The Australian government was saying there's heaps available but the doctors and nurses say there is none.

However, I haven't watched the news for the last few nights. I can't deal with it. The whole thing is starting to freak me out. Every time I go to the shops I just see sick people everywhere and I don't wanna catch this.

Well I'm sure they wash the dog every now and then but I'm surprised that they let him in regarding hygiene

We had therapy dogs in the hospital every Thursday as part of our rehab program. They were amazing! Therapy animals, not just dogs, do a lot to lift the patients spirits. Miniature horses are often used too.

In NY the Governor was trying to blame supply shortage on the President until it was discovered that he hadn’t even ordered them until 2 weeks prior.

Can I catch coronavirus if mosquito suck infected people blood and bite me?

Good question. Mosquitoes can transmit some viruses (Barmah Forest and Ross River virus) but not many. Common cold and flu viruses don't get spread by mosquitoes. However, this is a new virus and might be able to get transmitted via mosquitoe.

If you live in an area with mosquitoes, it is probably a good idea to try and avoid being bitten until more information is available on the corona virus.
