I spose we should really check to see if it's a girl goat or a boy goat. You can milk both but one goat has a big happy smile at the end of it.

Actually, I was unable to buy frozen veges, cans of baked beans or spaghetti, or virtually any canned fruit today when I went to the local supermarket. There's not even any rice or flour left on the shelves. They didn't even have any bottled water on the shelf. For some reason people are stock piling water even tho we have reasonable quality tap water that can be drunk. They were completely out of stock due to people stock piling.

About the only food available now is chocolate and chips (potatoe chips/ crisps and corn chips, etc). There's a small amount of fresh fruit and veges but only about 1/10th of what is normally available.

It's just getting out of control. I think the only places benefitting from this are toilet paper and tissue manufacturers.

Up here it wasn;t quite so bad. Plenty of water (we have 5 lakes here to get it from if need be) but the TP and anything disinfectant was all gone. I bought some flushable wet wipes for the kids (lots of those left) as they were getting all panicked about "what will I wipe my bum bum with". I had a lady stop me and ask me if those were the antibacterial wipes. I think people doesn't realize that antibacterial anything does nothing to a virus.. Peace of mind I guess.

You are very right. I believe testing that has been done in the US, from what I have read, total less than 10,000. Supposedly next week, many more tests should be available (over a half million) and the results from the increased level of testing will show a huge increase in cases (imho)

All Boston Public schools are being closed till April 27th.

Hand sanitizer works as well as soap and water. They need to be at least 60% alcohol though. Let’s try to keep facts straight here, peeps.

Alcohol attacks and destroys the envelope protein that surrounds some viruses, including coronaviruses. This protein is vital for a virus’s survival and multiplication. But a hand sanitiser needs to be at least 60% alcohol in order to kill most viruses.
