Brief text update before the fun stuff later (photos once the tank has cleared) :)

I got a royal gramma and a pink scooter blenny today which is the last of the fish that will go in this tank. The scooter blenny may not have been a good idea (difficult feeding with the tank not being fully mature again), it did feed off frozen mysis in the shop but will have to see how it goes. I do have a fairly large pod population but going to also keep a constant supply of baby brine shrimp going in there for the next few months. Next month I will get an overflow sorted out so I can fit in a small sump with scrubber and 'fuge.

I also got another 8kg of LR which makes the tank look a lot less empty now. And I got some more turbo snails which should be the rest of my CUC sorted.

The anthias and firefish are doing fine, the anthias did hide away a lot for the first couple of days but is now out and about most of the time during the day. He has scared the crap out of me a few times by swimming into REALLY small holes in the LR where I was sure he would get stuck. He always manages to either turn round and get out or find another way out though (should how many holes you have inside your LR that you dont really know about :)

The smaller clown fish is looking a little bigger im sure, he has also gone from a very bright yellow to a much darker yellow. Not quite the same as the bigger clown yet but its getting close to it. Thankfully both the clowns are really happy together as well (so far), there has been no aggression at all which was something I was worried about.

Think Im going to get a Yasha Goby and pistol shrimp pair as well :)
Ohh they're on my list at the moment. I found a mated pair of the gobies the other day but my tank's not ready for more fish yet.

The tank's looking good already chicks! Looking forward to more photos later :good:

Yeah, I wont get anymore fish for this tank now. However I do have an orca 450l sitting around which should be just about perfect for a goby/pistol shrimp pair :)

The yasha's are lovely and colourful and perfect for nanos :D

I really love the shrimp goby combos...very fascinating.

Few Photos:

Full tank shot (looking much better with more rock, still debating if I want more in the middle or not):

Royal gramma, The most aggressive fish in the tank. He wont chase anyone but he doesnt like anyone going near "his turf" (all the rest are happy to swim together):

Pretty little feather duster I found growing under one of my rocks:

Anthia's (never get bored of taking photos of this guy, mainly because he sits still long enough to get a decent one :) ).

The tank's looking great barney. I like the scaping as it is, it creates a more interesting horizon with the two peaks. Once you get more corals the gap in the middle will start to close up no doubt because as you know a lot of corals come on their own live rock so it's best to be a little light to start with.
Great photos as well. I have to agree about the Scooter, he is also our favourite fish and has so much character.

Tanks looking really well Barney are you pleased with you work so far.
I keep following this thread
