If it was me I'd go with the Cherries and the Embers I think the scape would look great with a group that size shoaling in there and you get to keep the Cherries

Awesome tank as always, I'd go with shrimp and a colourful shoal so I vote the Embers too

Could always set up another tank for Dwarf Cichlids

Lol I'm not allowed another tank we have 4, thanks for the comment by the way, hmmm swaying back to embers now but then if I got rid of the cherries I'd still have CRS hmmm I dunno.

In my experience cherries shoal better and are more intensely coloured - I regret having swapped my cherries for embers, and am probably going back soon

I mean I'd have embers with cherry shrimp or not have cherries and go with apisto's or rams.



I had chilli rasbora in this tank and badis in my Eden scape and they have swapped, this has 1 badis in now lol

Considering a small Ember shoal for my shrimp tank but I planned to have no fish in there at all, LFS sell them for 75p each though so it's a maybe, they do look great in a group!

Shrimp are always easy to sell on the young too, Cichlids not so much?

I've got ember tetras and cherry shrimp together and are a great combination

Embers seem to be really cheap in the trade at the moment. How about a Cherry barb set up?

i agree rams are great (and thats a fine specimen Ainsy, wild caught?), but forget the cherries...they do alright with amanos though IME.

Thanks! Yes he and his Mrs. are wild caught (or at least they were sold to me as wild ones!) She has got a very rosy belly - I'm hoping it will lead to some babies soon!
