Miko - no, it had nothing to do with your lent post! It is more about the American political landscape at the moment. Some states are making it harder for women to get birth control... not talking about abortion.. just birth control. Saying that a religious organization should be able to limit a woman's health care if they personally think she shouldn't and they pay into her health insurance. What she does with her insurance is none of their d*** business.

I don't mind people discussing it online.. it's when they are trying to make laws that are to govern an entire country or state that it makes me angry. Or when they treat others like crap becuase they think their religion gives them license.

I have a "Rational Household" sticker on my door. I have not had any door knockers since.. but in my area they were pretty few and far between to begin with.

People selling stuff annoy me too. If I want it I will go out and buy it or find it online.

I sold apple snails to someone and they paid through paypal, I received an email to say that the buyer had sent me money and only glanced at who it was, I didn't check my paypal account until today. Had been selling quite a few to different people and had an idea of what was in the account so when I seen it was an odd number I checked my history and the buyer made me pay the fee's. Granted the fee's aren't much but I did get an angry email off the buyer who complained one of the snails had died and asked me to send over another, at my expense, even though I knocked off £4 of the original post I made as he was in contact for a long time and was asking lots of questions, he seemed genuine. So not only am I out the fee's, the extra £4 that I should have had off him and now he wants another snail sent to him at my expense. I've told him I'm not going to do this as he didn't give me the full, reduced amount of money I wanted.
I should have check before I posted them, its my fault I know but now he's being cheeky I just want to grab his head, give him two dunks down and one dunk up in a bath full of water.

I would have told him where to go also. Negotiate a reduced rate, then quibble over ONE dead snail? Jeez, Besides, did you kill it? Did you heck. It died in transit. Did the other party take out insurance on said parcel? I bet not.

So as i said above, my answer would be "go swivvel", or you buy the deal again, and ill chuck one extra in. Its as expensive to send one as it is 50...

Ive bought and sold countless stuff on here, never a problem. Just takes one idiot...

I have not sold pets, but I will say that I love Pay Pal. I was able to use it at a previous unit for our "geedunk" snack bin. People paid up a lot faster when they could do so by credit card.

I couldn't believe it Mowbz, not even paying the full amount of what I asked him for either.
I did say prior if he wanted to pay for next day delivery and/or insurance but he said "no". I also offered if he wished to re-order more I would give the extra snail then.

Only a bathtub of water I'd dunk them in the foulest fish water I could find (after removing the fish of course ).
I am lucky in that I haven't purchased many pets online but when I have the other person has been honerable in the deal, also I haven't sold any pets online so I haven't had to have people complaining about things arriving DOA.

I love my grub with a passion. I'm not the biggest but I can eat like a monster! Only trouble is it takes me ages to finish a meal. I relish every mouthful. I really can't help it though, I physically can't eat quickly, and I have tried.
This is not a dig at you Coldcazzie, buy I hate when people comment on it. Worst perps are my family who think it's amusing to sit back nice and full and comment on the fact that I'm still at it!

If I've cooked a nice meal only to have to sit & wait ages for someone to finish, it does my head in.
The food must've gone cold by then & not taste as good.
I don't hoover my food, but I do like to get stuck in while it's good & hot

Constant health problems

Getting diagnosed with one thing after another yet no one seems to have a clue beyond 'you have this... there isnt a cure.... take these pills'. Constant tests and blood draining and grief and unpaid time off work and baaaaah!!

Then agonizing toothache and turns out i need to go back for 2 wisdom teeth + 1 out

And the antibiotics... amoxicillin and thn a second lot of antibiotics on top of the first to stop them making me sick and now i can even eat or anything without being sick and have finished them nearly a week ago.

And now im in so much discomfort if it doesnt get better its going to be a+e yet again

Why am i falling apart? I only just turned 24... not bloomin 42. or 204 more like it.

I try so hard not to comment, and I know eating slower is better for you than eating faster but it absolutely drives me to distraction. It's just one of my pet hates I also hate people spitting in the street.

Thankfully I do most of my own cooking! If we're in company people don't usually mind sitting around as the vino is usually flowing....
