Anyone Want To Rant? About Anything? I Do.

My sister moved out at 14, to get away from my dad who is a bully basically, at times. She said it was the best thing she ever did.

Its not like I'm paying a lot, and it is split between me and my boyfriend, it used to just be him all the time because I had no money coming in, but we still give money to her. Its the whole holiday thing really thats got to me.

Glad you're happy now though :) Alls well that ends well :)

My sister just snapped all of my sweet peas, I'm livid, they were 102 inches tall and she snapped the lot in half trying to pick the flowers...gutted.

I'd be gutted too.
The slugs have seem to taken over all the gardens on our side of the street and after spending about £100 on bulbs, half grown plants and seeds this year alone all I have to show for it are two livingstone daisys.

I take it your sister is little? I'm sorry, some people just don't get the love of plants, but if you've lavished love and care and time into getting something to grow it still hurts to have it destroyed, regardless of what it is. Can the lower parts of the plants be saved?
She's 13, I guess it was an accident but none the less still really annoying, I cut the broken pieces off and I just hope they shoot up again, Sweet Pea's love old tank water!

But it doesn't sound like your living life like a spending spree so your doing what you can and really at the end of the day that's what matters.
Our oldest boy who is 15 works part time as a farm labourer for extra money. He doesn't work a lot and gets £75 a week. We've never told him he has to pay anything towards living here. We wouldn't expect it as he's 15. He pays my girlfriend £25 a week for food. Don't ask why, but that's what he wanted to do.
We do not keep the money but save it for him, he doesn't know this so whenever the time comes that he needs money for moving out or when he is buying his wee scooter he wants or something big then he'll have that money.
Really proud of him. He's a great lad. Oh, he even saves some of his £50 a week he gets as he thinks that's the only cash he's saving.

I bet you're a brilliant dad :)

Even when I was just on £30 EMA for college, i gave her what i could. I dont know, i'm looking at small houses now anyway now ive been talking! If I was earning £1000 a month I wouldnt complain, but I dont, i earn £400 give or take £50, and i dont think its fair.

Gutted. Mine are about 70 inches tall right now, I would be livid if someone did that, even more if they attacked my Sugar Snap peas :sly: Or my Sunflowers which are about 9foot

YES! Yes, I do need to rant; blinkin' n00bs on here today; dear god (and I'm an atheist, lol!!!)

:shout: :shout: :shout: :shout: :shout:

....AND I've got a son who's in a massive strop and is saying he's the worst person in the world and shouldn't be allowed to have any animals, just 'cos he forgot to switch his filter back on after feeding the catfish last night; it was off for about 10 hours; only 0.25ppm ammonia though, and they've just had a 75% water change and are all back to normal, but he's still shut himself in his room and is refusing to speak to anyone

I am going to go and sit on the lawn with the dog and have a glass of cider and (attempt) to chill out :hyper:

Oh; forgot to say; you have my deepest sympathies, hanny; I have my son and his gf living with me atm, and I do think your mum's being a little unfair on you; and SBS for the loss of your sweet peas; they're almost my favourite flowers, after my roses; I do hope they grow back...

Cider sounds good, I don't drink but pretty tempted today.

Kids fighting with each other, "he called me gay" "you punched me" "its my turn on the wii/PS3/XBOX"

Yet another rant.
We need more bathrooms in this house.
Whenever I go for a shower I always ask does anyone need the toilet before I get in. They always so no. I'm in the shower 5 minutes and the knock comes to the door. What is wrong with them? I know children have weaker bladders but this is beyond a joke.
Does my head right in.

Another thing, when you buy a new razor, why is the packaging made so you cannot open it by hand? You need scissors. Then have to go downstairs and then use the scissors. Not even Hulk Hogan himself could open the packaging by hand. Its pointless and although I'm not a very green person its really wasteful with all that packaging.
Proper fries my head.

And while I'm at it, its my birthday today, saturday, tomorrow (its after 12am) and I don't intend on doing anything. I don't want to go out the door, I hate my birthdays, I think once your past 21 its only the 30's, 40's ect birthdays are important.
Maybe I'm just huffing as I'm "not allowed" any fish stuff for my birthday. Actually, no, that's wrong, I'm not huffing I just don't like them. Blah blah blah.

Maybe I should try and get some sleep, I'm starting to ramble.

I need to rant again today.....

I have a friend who is about to marry my ex-next-door-neighbour, Chris. He is a lovely guy; I've lived next door to him for over ten years, and I love him to bits. I'm even prepared to put up with her for his sake; ok, she's an alcoholic and is not perfect (who is?) but I know she worked #41#### hard and did a degree and held down a job to bring up her son as a single parent.

I have had to spend all this evening in her son's company; and what a f****ing obnoxious young man he is...he is one of those people who is so beautiful, you just look at him and he takes your breath away; but, dear god, he is horrible.

He thinks the entire world owes him a favour, and that he can do whatever the hell he likes and use his poor mother as an excuse for it.

Seriously; she's not that bloody bad; he never went short of food, was never neglected, has never really wanted for anything, but he looks down on everyone who isn't as young and beautiful as himself, the little s**t.

I had a run in with a police woman earlier, nearly a crash too. I was travelling along the main road whilst she was waiting to come out of the car park. I indicated well before time (always use indicators) as I was going into the car park. She decides to pull right out infront of me and once she seen I wasn't stopping she had to quickly reverse. I didn't actually get time to stop or brake it happened that quick but if I hadn't had the kids in the car I wouldn't have even bothered to try and brake.
She then shouted out of the window that I should "learn to #71###ing drive" and I had to stop once I'd got off the main road and onto the car park and say I did learn to drive and when I did learn to drive I was always told that people pulling out onto any main road had to wait until the road was clear. She then said I should have let her pull out and I had to also remind her that it also is never taught to you to let other drivers out or let other drivers let you out.
She got out of the car and threatened me with breach of the peace. I then had to remind her that she broke the peace by swearing at me which, whilst in uniform and nearly causing a collision whilst in a police car which was caught on camera and threatening of laws that I never broke was an offence and if she really wanted to take it further then I would have no problem in sitting in a cell for a few hours after she had arrested me for a false crime and taking it to the police ombudsman.
Her colleague stepped in and said not to worry about it and to carry on.
I also had to tell him I had nothing to worry about so I was carrying on regardless.

Its not like I resent the police, I do, in a way admire them as they put up with a lot of rubbish but I don't like them and I will definitely not lay down to any bully tactics or let a car out of a junction just as its a police car.

I'm still in two minds of whether to report her to anyway. I had children in the car and that was no way for someone that's supposed to enforce the law to behave.

I'd certainly report her! Sounds like she was having a bad day, but nevertheless, she was in the wrong.

My rant for today? Fish getting sick! And I don't know why!!

I'm getting really sick of my neighbours dog barking all the time.
I love dogs but this wee yappy thing is frying my head. Morning noon and night.

ME TOO!

We have put in numerous complaints about what we think are 3 dogs, left outside day and night in cages, never walked or anything that we know of, ad they bark and yap all the time.

Makes my dogs go crazy.

Its crazy. I know lots of people leave their dogs out all night in cages/sheds but I wouldn't.
I've found myself going out and giving it some ham just to shut it up.
Probably the wrong thing to do.
