it will probably be a few months before im ready to get an asian arowana, im concentrating more on the rays at the moment but i will definitely let you know when im ready to sell it on!!
had a phone call of jm curriers and the 3 rays will be here this afternoon! can't wait!!

remember pictures when they arriive

yeahh did it all go ok dave

hes been on today probly drooling in front of his tank

LOL Dave has very kindly been delivering the Oscars to me so it may be a while for an update. I doubt he's home yet.

and did he get them

 i know im impatient but i want to see those rays

not long been in, spent over an hour wondering whether to buy anything from bas, he said i could have had the polypterus lapradei for £10 but i thought about it, and as indigoj said to me he hadn't been eating and didn't look too healthy and i noticed he had only one pectoral fin and as much as i felt sorry for it sat there i couldn't get it. i might go back for the large L014 sunshine plec though, can't find any more to see if the price is good though so don't know whether to pay £140 for it or not! anyone have an idea? its about 9-10" id say...
for anyone who likes snakeheads they had channa bankanensis for £4.95 each, channa melasoma for £14.95 and channa sp. 'fire and ice' for £45 each, the other half wouldn't let me get any though! not that i have the space for a channa tank now.
he still won't sell me the red arowana they have either! oh and i was tempted by a flagtail prochilodus, but with the stories i see about them sucking on rays i though id better not!
anyway, yes the rays are here, got delivered by jm curriers at HALF SEVEN! i waited all day for them!
they were all swimming about, now 1 is swimming around and the other two are burried in the sand with just eyes and tail poking out! they are well cute!
when i got up and the lights came on there was hundreds of marks in the sand, and watching them they like walk around using there anal fins (i think they're anal fins) instead of swimming, lazy sods!
anyway im just charging the camera and i will get some pics on soon as i can, i think the other just burried its self now so you might just see there eyes and tails, i'll do the best i can!!

Dave

You should of got the Lap, for £10 it's cheap:) As for eating you could of just tried a few differernt foods and it would of been good:)

Can't wait for pictures of the Rays . Last time i went to BAS all i got was some backing for my tank , horrible shop to go to... just soo much money can be spent there you totally have to be on best behaviour lol.
