5Ft Tank Build

Angels are here!!!!
 
I am meant to be on my way back to work, but they have given me permission to start late so i can get these guys in the tank. It will be a speedy climatization, but its better than staying boxed up or just getting dumped in the tank

Now the new guys are not as stark white as the 3 i already had. 2 are pearlscales too i notice. Regardless i think they are beautiful and cant wait for them to settle in properly and grow a bit.

Tank now stocked with
 
10x Angels
1x BGK
2x Albino BN
2x Common BN
Female endlers (unknown amount)

Oh they're beautiful! I feel so dumb asking but are there platinum pearlscales or they did not send you all platinums? Hope they settle in quickly Where does the BGK tend to hide in there?

No such thing as a dumb question Nin They are all platinums, 2 are pearlscale platinums. Some are also long finned, quite pretty.
 
Even last night they looked better. When i got them 3-4 were looking quite red around the mouth, fins and along the top of the back, but when i got home from work most of the inflammation had settled. When i opened the box, the smell was unpleasant, which is why i wanted them out of the water they were in as soon as possible.

Houston we have a problem!
 
Sooooooo Diablo is being a bit of a sod harassing the angels. I have now lost of 5 angels, and i notice today when i was checking them, that the remaining 5 are ill. So Diablo has been removed while i treat the angels and hopefully the recover, but they are not looking too good at all today sadly.
 
If i lose them all i will do a full water change to remove meds and restock with more mature angels, and Diablo will go back in last. I will be also adding more plants to give both Diablo and the angels more cover.

I have bought today 2 new large angels that will be destined for this tank, obviously not while it is under treatment.
 
The 5ft angels are moving around a bit more and eating, so there maybe hope for these guys, fingers crossed! They are not out of the dark woods yet. WC is due on Sunday and a re-treatment of the meds, i will know if it is at least working during the WC.

I really hope they make it! Are the large angels going to be okay with these smaller ones? Or are you going to wait til the small ones get bigger?

They may be ok or they may not....i can try and see. If they are not the larger angels will live in the 3ft until the smaller ones get a bit bigger

 That would depend on size the most, larger obviously more expensive

Update: The 4 surviving angels are looking quite good, no sign of fungus/finrot, well except for a bit of damage fins, these will repair to an extent. The 2 new large angels have been added, also the platinum gouramis (there tank is heading for  a major overhaul)
More plants have been added, also some extra hardscape. The little angels are shadowing the larger ones lol or following along behind the gouramis...tis so cute.
