330L Tank Journal

wow, that tank is amazing. its so lush.
also how are your tiger barbs and angels doing? im afraid to get some, so they cant nip the angels fins. im debating between 2 more angels or 6 tiger barbs (mix of albino, green and reg)

Thank you question I would haft to say they nipped at start but not anymore, if you do get tiger barbs get between 6 to 10 as the greater numbers will help how many angels you have as the number of angels will help my angels fight between them selfs so do the tiger barbs no damage caused just pecking order squabbles so they leave each other alone one thing that has surprised me is when I do a water change my corys chase the barbs around the tank and I mean aggressive chasing, there not fast enough so nothing happens but ye maybe with reducing water the barbs are pushed into the corys space and there not happy with it

With what you said I would go with 1 extra angel and 6 to 8 tiger barbs, just remember adding angels into an already established tank is almost impossible I did it and my angles almost died but
Luckily didn't :) I was very lucky I think

Thnx again always happy to try and help :)

Love seeing the progression, the plants have filled out and look great. Love the big branch as well!! :good:

My barbs do not bother my angels in the slightest bit, maybe out of curiosity in the beginning, but I think for the most part the angels can def. handle their own and made it quite clear any nipping is not tolerated lol.

i agree green, there was nipping to start with but haha :) my angels could eat my tiger barbs whole almost when i got them so was kinda funny :D it soon stopped as they knew there place :D

thank you for the comment glad you like it :D

Dude I think your CO2 would be better utilized if you cut the surface movement a little. Nice Angels. :good:

okay i shall lower the powerhead now :)

looks good.
do you still have any clown loaches or corys? i couldnt see any. i saw up to the point where your whiteish angelfish are turning the corner, on your side view, then the video stoppend

haha yes i have 5 loaches still, but they hide under the cave, since the new lights i never see them come out, maybe i don't know they don't like the light, they will come out maybe one at a time swim close then get scared and rush back in :S maybe loaches prefer darker waters?, and the cory's i am 100% certain they prefer more shallow water, as i only ever see them either at night, or when i do a water change, and then they are VERY VERY active, once the water is reduced below 50% they come out and are all over the tank i think i have around 7 or 8 of them hard to count, but they hide under all the greenery on the right and at the back

Hey thank you
