30 Gallon Nano Journal...

tank is looking great! I'm right behind you on getting my 30g setup. Where did you get your hood/lights and how much were they?

$130 Shipped :shout: And I made my cover out of egg crate so no fish will be able to jump out

I cut it myself =) Here it is (the blue light is my moonlight)

If anyone wants to reccomend I move some rocks around please do so. I'm thinking of rescaping the tank as its getting quite boring and leaving no space for corals to perch.

where did you get them? It looks so good I may just have to copy you heh. I think your rocks look good how they are...I know the feeling though, it's terrible...Im a habitual rock rearranger.

Chris- Thanks, It took forever to find a tool that would actually cut through it neatly.

Nick-My sand bed is not deep enough since he usually digs until he touches glass. Its about 3-4inches though.

I'v read that if they don't like the sandbed they will rearrange it till they have a hole they like. Have you had any problems with him doing that and what type of substrate do you use?

Haha, very neat tank, but I liked the cat picture the best. He/She doesn't look impressed.

No, she actually makes neat holes. Cleans around it and digs it all by himself. SOMETIMES he make random piles of sand, but thats rare. I use sand.

Miagi- Thanks, yeah I was in the middle of petting him when I took the picture.
