And Philly beat the Giants which was no surprise as the Giants are not very good at only 5-9 going into the game. Actually the Giants gave the Eagles more trouble than I thought they would but then, as shown in other posts, I don't consider Philly to be as good as their record. Actually wasn't a bad game but I was totally bored. I think the reason for that is that I was really just passing time waiting for the Ravens and 49ers... GO 49ers!

Odd as it is with all the injuries for the Browns they can still actually win the division. To do this the Browns would need to close out by beating the Jets and Bengals. Then the Ravens would need to lose two with the 49ers being a good possibility. The end of the season for the Ravens is much harder than the Browns finish. After the 49ers the Ravens have Pittsburgh and Miami.

If the Browns win out and the Ravens lose out the Browns win the division outright. If the Ravens lose two and the Browns win out the Browns take the division on a tie breaker as long as one of the Ravens' losses is to the Steelers.

Of course the Browns taking the division is probably not going to happen but comparing the ending schedules it is more possible than one may think as the Ravens have a much harder ending. With ending the season facing the 49ers, Steelers and Dolphins it is not far fetched to consider the possibility of the Ravens losing all three.

I hate to say it but it now looks really bad for the 49ers. But, of course the Ravens must be cheating along with the refs and, some how, the fans... Actually this is just proving my feeling that, right now, the NFC has nothing to throw at the AFC.

Unless something drastic happens I'm actually going to have to pull for the Steelers when they play the Ravens. Pulling for the Steelers is just SO against my nature it may even be painful but I'm going to have to suffer through and do it.

This is true and the 48ers just scored with a touch over 6 minutes to go so you never know but it still does not look good.

For me the next big game is the Thursday game with the Browns and Jets. If the Browns win they clinch a playoff berth.

Sigh, bye bye 49ers. I don't care who you are; you are not going to win a game when you throw 5 interceptions. For the most part the interceptions were not even good defensive plays but terrible throws.
