2023-2024 NFL Discussion

Had I owned the Washington team I would have renamed them the red skin potatoes. That way we could still call them the red skins. And their 72 points still stands as does their record in the nig game of most points in a quarter.

The game of the week is Dallas going into Buffalo. Bug rain due there and Dallas is 3-3 on the road and 7-0 at home. There is a chance this is a preview of this season's Supe. But right now Dallas and Phully are ties for best in the NFC and the ravens rule the AFC. But, to quote Pogo, "One never knows, does one??

49ers are 10 and 3 also. Don’t count them out.

I’m rooting for the 49ers to be in the Superbowl. Brock Purdy and team are awesome.

If you measure them by PF and PA, the 49ers are better than the Eagles by a wide margin.

I’d like to see the 49ers play the Ravens in SB.

I dont think the Chiefs can repeat this year. There's something missing this year. Mahomes still has it as a quarterback but his receivers are making too many mistakes. Patrick can throw the ball but he can't catch it too.

When I have watched them his receivers drop the ball a LOT.

Granted but there seems to be a LOT of dropped balls over the last few years on all teams. This isn't unique to KC. I think some receivers are so intent on making the 'impossible' catch that they slack off and forget how to make the easy catch. Peoples-Jones is a good example of this, great talent and makes amazing catches but drops too many that hit him on the numbers... Probably the reason he is no longer with Cleveland. David Njoku, tight end for Cleveland, is another example of this but he is just to good as to yards after the catch to gripe about it much.

I'm not quite sure how they did it with an offensive line that now has all 5 starters out but my Browns managed to beat the Bears 20-17 to go to 9 and 5. :) Playoffs are looking better and better. :)

LOL! The Kardiac Kids may be back with another late field goal to win. This one with 32 seconds left. Kardiac Kids was an old nickname for the Browns during the time of Brian Sipe and then Bernie Kozar at QB.

Lose is an understatement, they got smoked!
This MAY be a strong and off the wall statement but I really think that my Browns' defense would destroy Dallas. To a lesser degree I think they would do the same with Philly. Of course this is totally technical and without bias as I, of course, am, in no way, partial toward the Browns... ;) :band:

SUPERBOWL PREVIEW?

The game I'm really looking forward to watching is the 49ers vs Ravens on Monday Night football on December 25th. Two top quarterbacks--two top teams that could very well be competing in the Superbowl. This game should be a fun watch on Christmas.

Me too. But I don’t think my Ravens are up for the task. Especially with Mark Andrews out.
