Detroit/Dallas????????????????

I have nothing against aggressive football but come on Detroit. In the first half kick the danged field goal instead of going for it on 4th and goal. What was it 4th and 4 or in that area? And then, at the end of the game, they should have won except for an illegal touching penalty because a 'professional' player forgot to declare himself as eligible. :dunno: Even worse is the choice to STILL go go for the 2 point conversion after the penalty. Again... :dunno: Kick the extra point and go to overtime.

I haven't seen a lot of Detroit games and their game plan has got them success but, come on... Dallas did not win this game, Detroit lost it. Sometimes common sense has to override aggression.

All the above said I will just add that, in a few cases, the officials seemed a 'bit' pro Dallas. This was most apparent with a late no-call where Dallas was pretty flagrant as to a pass interference or, at least illegal contact.

Oh well, I had no pokers in the fire with this game so really don't care. LOL! I just don't like Dallas. ;)

Who’s making offense decisions: analytics or a real person. Whichever….bad decisions.

Watching the pregame for Ravens/Dolphins and, from what I'm getting, on that 2 point conversion at the end with the penalty 68 DID report as eligible but the officials declared to the defense that it was 70 reporting. So that MAY have been an official's error, not the player. I still think it a bad decision to keep going for the 2 points instead of kicking for the tie. Also, why would 70 be right there with 68 while 68 is reporting? :dunno:

Ravens playing smartly thus far. Fingers crossed.

Yep, Ravens took the Dolphins apart. Actually I expected more from Miami.

Sooo, what do ya do now? Both the Browns and Ravens are clinched for the playoffs and the last game doesn't really matter next week. Do you rest players? Ravens will have a bye so I might play everyone but may rest Browns players as, even if they lose, will be the fifth seed unless I figured wrong.

Yes that was a rout. Even with so many injuries. This is the kind of ball they need to play through all of January. Lamar was on the mark today.

Yay...Patriots lost...they're on track to get a first round draft pick for a quarterback

Surprisingly the Chiefs are struggling in the Bengals game. Offensively they're just not like the Chiefs of old.

Who you think will be coaching the Pats next year?

Often happens with a QB that is unusual like Mahomes. Takes a while but often defenses figure them out. If I'm not mistaken the KC offensive line isn't as good as it was either.

49ers beat the Commanders 27 to 10
If 49ers meet Baltimore for SB, it's pretty obvious which team will be favored.

Chiefs take the AFC West for the 8th consecutive year.

And Cinci and Denver are officially eliminated.

I wonder what would be the odds on this if it is confirmed that Bradley Chubb's injury is, in fact, an ACL. Now consider that Nick Chubb and Bradley Chubb are second cousins. Also consider that Nick Chubb is a premier running back and Bradley Chubb is a premier defensive end. What would the odds possibly be that they both end their season with an injury associated with an ACL... :dunno: LOL! Put a grand on that in the preseason and you and your kids are probably set for life. ;)

This may not be NFL but is football. ;)

Anyone see the AT&T commercial with their new football helmet? It is designed for players with hearing impairments and has a visor with a HUD. The coach taps the play on a device and it is displayed on the visor. In my opinion that is way cool! :)

How can the Green Bay Packers have zero pro Bowl players? Isn't it mandatory that every team is represented? Or is that just in baseball with the All Star Game? :dunno:
