hey thanks a million for all your help :P one more quick question is the "fabric stuff you said u place over resin. is that a must ? our is it ok to just use resin and hardener to proform watertight seal ?

I am going to be building a 8*2*2 PLYWOOD aquirium this months and i was just woundering what substance should i use to insulate the tank.... i have seen two so far Epoxy and Liquid rubber... i was woundering which one is best and also will i need to se fiberglass with such a small tank... ...

personally i would say the blue cray fish are way to fast for the rainbow to catch and i am pritty sure crayfish got a hard shell right ? :/ sooo im sure they will be fine i would just have a back up tank ready if something does go wrong and one of them attackes the other :) happy fish keeping :)

well i do for a 250l that i can put them into once they are big enuf cause as of now the oscar will have them gone in secounds :(

ok so today i went to my local fish store to order in some snakeheads but it turns out they are getting a order in tomoro for 8 channa pleurophtalna Ocellated Snakehead i was woundering could i get one of them for my 120 litre ( 4 foot i think ) i got loads of hiding spots and all... and also...

i have never had piranhas myself but i would first upgrade to 6 piranhas because they will do better and i would feed them prawns and really any meaty feeds like beef heart i think they eat vegstables aswell :)

ya my local fish shop stocks both of them i know see i got an oscar in the 240 and i just love the way he is the centre peice fish thats always there looking at ya when u come into the room he feels lyke a puppy always looking for attention :)

not 100% sure but i would of reccomended keeping old water and useing that water 2 cycle tank as im sure its got very high ammonia which would be perfect for a fishless cycle .... as u needed 2 do is turn on filter and wait for ammonia 2 drop.... then do ure big water changes... correct me...

what im gonna do is get a bucket fill it with bio balls / bio noods and then fill it 2 the top with filter start product and daily dose with ammonia and it should work like a charm

hey just a little tip i would reccomend keeping them in breeder tap for 3 weeks of there life as they wont grow fast at all in 60l as they have no knolladge to find there food u are offering and in breeder tap there is much less places to search for food hope this helps ronananator
