That would be a Plecostomus, a rather good sized one at that. You could put all three plecos in the same tank assuming that its large enough and that they are of similar size, that way one doesn't bully the others or starve them. What are the dimensions of your tanks?

Yeah you are probably right... :/ since the Angelfish will still be too young by the time I move them to really be showing signs of aggression. That could be a rather expensive project too if it goes sour with a larger tank. The thought still intrigues me.

I've never heard of this happening and I've been keeping ottos for 11 years now. They were probably thinking of Chinese algae eaters which have been known to bully fish sometimes.

I'd recommend getting more platys. You can get more of the same or whatever you want, I just like to keep them in groups of six or more. Especially with a tank of your size! That way any one fish doesn't get singled out and they just tend to be happier in larger groups like that I've noticed...

Well your setup would depend on what type of fish you were interested in breeding. Were you thinking of breeding live-bearers or egg layers? Personally I love Poecilia wingei (Endlers Livebearers). They are relatively easy to breed and pure strains can sell for quite a bit!

One method I've used that works pretty well is to put the net in with one hand and just let it sit in a spot (preferably a corner) and then to lure the fish into your net with your other hand.

I've had similar problems in my 208ltr cichlid tank, just make sure you clean up the food on the bottom that isn't being eaten and keep doing water changes regularly. Plants are always good but cichlids do like to have fun with them so just make sure you have them anchored down well!
