Hi all! New to the forum.

I've set-up my 20gal tank about 5 months ago (went on hiatus for 8yrs).

I have 5 neon tetras + 3 Sunset Fire Platties (1m, 2f).
- The male stays by the side glass most of the time (nose to the glass).
- 1 of the females is aggressive towards the other female.

Any suggestions on how to change (or what's causing) the behavior of the male & aggressive female?

Thanks.

add 1 more male and one more female. or 2 more males and 2 or 3 females to spread aggression maybe?

I'd recommend getting more platys. You can get more of the same or whatever you want, I just like to keep them in groups of six or more. Especially with a tank of your size! That way any one fish doesn't get singled out and they just tend to be happier in larger groups like that I've noticed. Plants and caves are also good as they create hiding places for the fishies.
If you could post a pic that would be awesome! :D
