The red tail fish has grown quite a bit since I bought it, but swims quite normally, I have never seen it attacking smaller fishes. What do you think is the right number of fish for this size tank.

I had a lot of trouble with sand especially as I had clown loaches and they would roll around in the sand and move it to the back of the aquarium. The water was permanently coudy. In the end I reverted back to gravel.

I have just bought a 200 litre tank. My current one is 90 litres. I have always used an internal filter. What do you people advise for the bigger tank, Internal or external filter. What are the pros and cons? Thanks

For the last two weeks I have checked various levels in the water with strips. While nitrite and nitrate are fine, PH was slightly low at 6.0, however the water hardness came out at 180, when according to the chart it should be between 80 to 120. How do I reduce the water hardness level?
