i have 2 angels and a pair of kribs,my kribs also have just laid eggs so im gonna be expecting young soon,would this make any big difference

i currently have a 4ft 170l aquarium ,its a community tank with tank mates such as angelfish,kribs zebra dainos and platys and mollys,1 of my m8s says he has breed some rainbow cichlids and says i could have a few off him as they are still young.he says theyl be fine in my tank as they are none...

thanks for the suggestions,i have platys in the tank too,they are fine,the problem id have with the tetras is that i also have 2 angel fish,who are quite big,the last time i put neon tetras in the tank,the angels ate them,the tetras were quite small,but i also have zebra dianos and they are ok...

Okay cheers for that info,i wont reduce ph, im currently treating my tank for finrot, and trying to get to the root of the problem,i checked my ammonia levels today to,and they were 0.25,have you any suggestions as to why the bacteria in my tank isnt getting rid of the ammonia thats going into...

I recently bought a fluval u4 internal filter that i thought i need and now i dont ,so im selling it,its never been used and is still unopened and still in its packaging, im wanting 38quid for this filter and that will include postage and packaging

oh right,my tank stand only takes my tank about a foot and a half off the ground,i got told with it being solow to the ground, a syphon vac wouldnt work as most tanks are high off the ground,is this true,or have i been misled?

ammonia is zero at the mo!,but was 0.25 last week,ive done 3, 70% water changes since then.the fish seems to swimming a bit erractily(jerky movement) with rapid gill movement,its back tail seems to be tensed up,not at full span,buts the fish is eating fine,belly is fine too
