Rainbow Cichlids

i currently have a 4ft 170l aquarium ,its a community tank with tank mates such as angelfish,kribs zebra dainos and platys and mollys,1 of my m8s says he has breed some rainbow cichlids and says i could have a few off him as they are still young.he says theyl be fine in my tank as they are none aggressive,but i know with cichlids you have to be careful about what u introduce to your community set up,would these fish be okay or not?.

Depending on how many angels/kribs etc you might be ok, also other stocking, rainbows are relatively peaceful, but as you rightly stated, any cichlid has form to rock the boat

i have 2 angels and a pair of kribs,my kribs also have just laid eggs so im gonna be expecting young soon,would this make any big difference

Well, if your wanting fry then do not go ahead, i personally feel you might have enough cichlids in this tank,

I think your angels may be in for a rough ride if the kribs have eggs and then fry.

I would also say your tank may be a bit shallow for angels.
