Thank you both for the info! The bowl is about 1-2 gallons in volume. I will definitely clean it and treat it accordingly. I DO have a 5 gallon tank that I do not use, but the filter is cheap, there is no heater, and the lighting is rubbish. It could be better than a bowl though I suppose.

I had to pickup a friend from the airport so I was busy all day. It is 11PM right now and my eel is definitely sick. He is barely swimming/moving, is not reacting to me (usually he is frightened by me, now he just stays put), and has lost color in his tail. Picture provided below: :(

These guys get along with most things. They will do fine with any fish bigger than their mouths, anything smaller will most likely be eaten up! They will not, or should not, be tank mates with oscars, red devils, or any other predatory/territoral type large fish. Large goldfish and the same do well.

Yes I have looked at the pinned topic. The picture I have above is very low quality. It is not poop for sure, its white and has been there for days... She looks exactly like this: I can see all of the fry in her too.
