Is it possible to buy Aquarium safe paints? I have two fake rocks in my aquariums and the paint is chipping away slowly, and i can't afford to go out and buy new stuff as they weren't cheap!! is there a paint available that I can use inside the tank that won't be toxic to my fish?

alright, i should probably get some medication. if i can't find the medication you showed me, what should I be looking out for? would it be internal parasite medication or specifically worm medication? thanks wilder

i thought it was likely to be worms or parasites, but whenever i read about them it says the fish will be skinny. mine are fat :S

catxx, you could be right! ive seen it labelled as a "golden sucking fish" in another pet shop too, and it had details about it growing up to 10 inches.

i'm pretty sure they are really just ignorant. it's annoying though, because if i go to buy a mobile phone, i'd expect them to know something about phones!! also, there will have been a lot of fish in those tanks, so they would have cycled long ago, and they probably just sold the first fish...

as ive said before, i'm skint and set up a new tank. it's 2ft long and 54 litres. i do want a few live plants in there but i'm not going to go overboard. ive looked for aquarium lighting, but it's all so expensive!! would a desk lamp be ok?

hmm i took him to the petshop but the guy i spoke to didnt seem to know much, just gave me some bacterial meds. the fish doesnt seem to be getting better, his hole doesn't actually look through his body, just pink flesh exposed beneath. his mouth and 'chin' are also affected. its weird though...
