i have had dalmation+black mollies that have bred i got a variety of colours as well. :good: spotted brown+white, silver+black, plain black, and plain silver

although salt can be beneficial to mollies. its not suitable for all fish. i think if i remember rightly scaly fish are not tolerant with salts

mollies can be a bit nippy anyway.do you use aquarium salts as mollies do prefer brackish water :good:

just a thought but do you have brackish water mollies seem to thrive in it but can become sickly if you dont use salts. if you add fish to a tank you should not put the water they came in into your tank there could be hidden disease or parasites

i have recently cycled a 40 gallon tank which at the moment contains guppie fry. when these are big enough they are going to my lfs. i am going to restock the tank but know very little about bottom feeders. can anyone help with a bit of info or advices.cheers all
