The difference is because there is an option called a "Null Vote." This gives a member the chance to see the results without actually casting a vote. The total number includes them too.

Senegals can actually get bigger than dels. Im not quite sure how that would make a difference.

Some websites say delz need a 50gal, some say 55gal. This is a 50gal so I think it's okay. As long as he can easily turn around, he's staying. Thanks for the idea though

senegals rarely get larger than 10" as compared to an approximately 16" del. and hence it is possible for senegals to inhibit a minimum of 30g whereas yes you're right to say dels need around 55g.

now i'm confused . in your first post you mentioned this is a 45g so yeah thats why i mentioned to rehome the del

Ahh okay, I thought it was a 45gal, but I measured it and its a 50gal. So should be all gravy.

I just hope he doesnt get home and buys about 15 more fish.

Well, I feel a little square, but I really think it would be a bad idea to nuke it against his trust. Please, just USE A THREAD! Open a thread, again as I said, sorry if I didn't notice it yet, and open a poll in it, and it should have you read the below, and ask in the poll if his tank is overstocked, and some knowledgable people should say yes and why.

a part of me says do it go ahead if hes not looking after them them y not but the other half says if he don't learn what is going to stop him from buying even more harming lot more maybe to try and try to educate him other wise nuking the tank may not change a thing.

Well one of the congo tetras eyes just exploded and it died so.....

How exactly is it destroying someone elses proterty? He's destroying them himself, I'm just relocating them to a better home.

I have pulled up numerous pages about the fish he has, and about stocking. his replys were always "everything on the internet is lies".

And I wouldn't think a bichir would eat fully grown congo tetras? They are about 5-6"

Exactly. the only things with full fins are the bichir nd the clowns. Maybe the eel, but i havnt seen the whole of it.
