There is no doubt about it, if you do not remove them from the tank quick enough they will inbreed. As for breeding, get some moss in your tank for the fry to hide in and soon enough you will have loads. I have just given 40 guppy to the fish shop the day. Paul

I have both and I think you should go with sand with substrate beneath it so you can grow plants with low wattage bulbs. Also get yourself some fish that sieve through the sand to keep it clean. I never have to clean my sand but the gravel fills up with **** underneath which is obviously harmful...

They seem to eating the flake food that i put in and also all of my snails that i aint bothered about. Should I just continue feeding them flake food of get them cichlid food? Cheers Paul

I just bought two sheepshead acara from the pet shop today but forgot to ask what they eat. Will they eat the common flake food or do i have to feed them specific food? I heard the better the food you give them the more colourful they become, is that true and therefore what foods?

I did use a clown loach the last time n it really worked but my tank aint big enough for some as they need to be kept in groups. he sadly died a wee while ago so thats how they have come back. ill try using holiday food to get rid of some. Take them out when i feel i have too many. cheers
