unfortunatly she died this morning in my 5 gallon fry/hospital tank...=(

i think i will try the sponge idea thanks =)

at what age do you think fry are strong enough and smart enough to stay away from a filter intake?

I have a female guppy and right after she gave birth she looks like she has taken on an arch in her spine. Her whole body is arched and she kinda waddels when she swims but she is eating okay and all of that.

those are cool. something to think about. but do they get out of control and create mayhem. also is it normal to have a clownfish host a mag-float? because mine is and its kindof cool and weird at the same time.

i like it and all but looking at all of the others on the site and myn looks kinda boring. :(

I have had my tank now for 2 months and 11 days. I have 1 percula clownfish, 1 fire fish, a green candy coral, a kenya tree, green star polyps, and a striped mushroom. for clean crew i have 5 asterus snail, 1 conch, 1 turtle snail, 3 scarlets, 3 blue hermits. What should i add next it looks...

so there is no possible way i can keep an anemone. :-( they are sooo amazing and i would love to have one. is there a possibility i could keep one alive or none at all? of course i would get the right lighting and iodine and stuff to care for it.

i meant will the kenya trees attack eachother?

so do you agree that it will live under my lights? will they attack eachother if they live that close? if i get frogspawn cani i encourage my clown to host it?

it looks like a tree thas has polyp leaves. the lrs didnt have the lights i needed until wednsday so right now i have 2 small incandescent lights. he said that the coral i got could live in that light. heres a pic.

so i know it was a bad idea but my lrs gave me 1 percula clown 2 dove snails 3 hermits and 1 extremely hardy coral. will i be okay? :crazy:

i ALSO have neons with guppy. as you can tell its fine for neons and cardinals to be with gups.

ok so your saying if i get somthing like a plate coral a clown fish will host that?

i have probably around 25 small to medium sized ones and maybe even some baby ones. i think they are cool to watch.

i was thinking of getting scarlets not blue. is that a good switch or do they do entierly different things? if i get a clown will i have to or can i put an anemone in the tank? ive been reading and they sound extremely hard to take care of! thnx

if you havnt heard I have a 10 gallon tank i have just started cycling. i would like to know what are some good live stock options for my tank. like cleaning crew, fish and inverts. :D i am getting a better lighted hood this weekend for my tank because all i have now is two normal short light...

you dont want one cory and 4 guppies. it will be crowded and the cory will be lonley. i have one cory who used to have a partner but it died im planning on getting another but he is realy unhappy

omg i am using an old fw tank for sw that has ben treated for ick and the sealants are blue. the box says the blue is from dye. the ingrediants are Victoria green and acriflavine.

ive had it one day and ive already found a starfish and worms!
