    Green Terror Growth Rate

If I have a GT in a 75 gallon tank, with some other fish such as Sevs, how long would it take the GT to reach full size? The GT is about 1.5-2" currently.

Rams And Cory's & Mixing Peaceful Cichlids..

I myself have had numerous Blue Rams with Cories, and never had a problem. The Blue Rams have never even shown any aggression towards them. I've also kept them with regular gouramies, never really gotten into dwarf gouramies, but I don't see there could be much of a problem. I also keep my Rams...

    Severum

The 2 that I have in my 75 are pretty peacefull. One bullies the other a little bit, but nothing terrible. I'm sure you could have 1 in a 55 gallon, the only question I have is, is the tank of fish?

I'd have to say the male is a Green Terror, I can't really tell with the female.

German Blue Rams - Fading Colours

Its possible that you have two male rams. A male, female pair is usually a brilliant color, but as soon as you get two males together it seems like the colors are always faded, unless they're fighting that is.

Some Random Pics Of My Fish

Ah, damn those bad fish shops! Well you would be doing the right thing by taking it back as long as they put it back on sale with the RIGHT information! Ben Haha yeah, but I really think they just didn't know what is was. Now however it's big enough to where I don't think a mistake can be...

    55 Gallon

What about a GT, and a Pleco of some sort?
  14. B

    Green Terror

The Severums are large enough to where I'm sure by the time the GT gets any length, they will be able to easily hold their ground against them. I'll probably have problems when the 2 are full grown though I think? As far as the Bala, he bugs no one in the tank and no one bugs him. Plus he is...

Some Random Pics Of My Fish

Hey Bunjiweb, I bought the Frontosa as a baby, and it was listed as a Convict Sp. they told me it was a special sort of blue convict, and I fell for it you can say. So after that they said they wouldnt let me take it back until they sold their other frontosa, but I was hoping they would let me...

    Green Terror

I was told on another forum that a Green Terror would be fine with fish such as Severums, a Delhezi, Tyre Track Eel, and Bala Shark. Is this true? I would buy the GT as a baby as advised, and my Sevs are around the 5" mark, while the delhezi is about 3", the Eel is about 8", and the Bala is...

    Group Of Severums?

I see nothing wrong with the Severums. Sounds like a big enough tank for those to me, as for the Silver, I think bigger is needed?

    Update On Gold Severum

Unfortunately, yes they are both in the same tank. I have a huge amount of aeration in the tank also. I'm trying to use a medication that cures ich, and bacteria. I'm also toning the medication down a bit so as to not hurt the clown loach, and I'm also making the temperature cooler and cooler...

    Something A Little More 'interesting'...

I'd have to say African Butterfly fish, they only get to 4". Also, even though I'm sure they would eat tetras, they don't leave the surface, so unless you have some daring tetras I don't think you would have a problem.

    Update On Gold Severum

Acting normal, but he has the ulcer, so hes not going anywhere...I hope he stays like this until it heals! But anyway, I'll update you all in about a week or so on how he is doing.

    Update On Gold Severum

No he's not scratching on anything. Its weird, he seemed a lot worse yesterday, maybe he's getting better!
  26. B

    Update On Gold Severum

Oh ok then...looks like hes staying in there. And only the Clown Loach seemed to be breathing heavily, no other fish I have is.
  27. B

    Update On Gold Severum

Ok, I got some CopperSafe from my LFS, and also an airstone for the tank. I'm wondering though, are ulcers contagious? These 2 fish have different things wrong with them, so I don't know whether it is best to have them together or not although I don't have another choice. Also, for the Gold...

    Update On Gold Severum

The Clown Loach has irritation in the gills, and he's gasping for air it seems like. I think it's going to be ich because last time some of my fish did this I had an ich outbreak.

    Update On Gold Severum

I was only able to get a pic of the Gold Severum, so anyway here he is... On the picture you can see the red and also the red sore underneath the fin.

    Update On Gold Severum

Well...instead of being able to get 2 ten gallon tanks, I got one 5 gallon tank that is already cycled. I put the Gold Severum in it, and a Clown Loach because they are both looking sick. I will work on sending pics of both.

    Fire Eel?

Everyone is right that they get way to big for a 46 Gallon. As far as eating everything else, my Tyre Track Eel is about 10" long and has eaten nothing bigger than a neon tetra, fish that is. Sure his mouth opens huge and he eats full shrimp like nothing, but either I came up with a docile one...

    Hospital Tank And Extra Tank

Are you positive they get to 2 feet in length? I'm not saying your wrong, but from what I have read they get to about 14". As for the tank, yes I know that is a lot of fish listed and in the near future I will be overstocked. I talked to my lfs, and they told me they are glad to do trade ins, so...

    Hospital Tank And Extra Tank

Ok good news! Tomorrow my mom is getting me two 10 gallon tanks; one for my sick Severum, and the other I'm going to put my smallest German Ram in because something has been chomping on it lately and it was the only female I have been able to find since I've gotten into Rams. With that being the...

    Genetics

From what I know, you obtain one allele from each parent. Then from those 2 alleles they can each either be recessive or dominant for the most part. The dominant allele is the one that shows up in the phenotype. However, sometimes when you get two recessive alleles the phenotype is that trait...

    Gold Sev Issue

Since you put it that way, I'll have to go into town and get one, but one problem! I have school then either basketball practice or game until Saturday day, is there anything I can do to hold off until then?

    Gold Sev Issue

Oh 25%, ok I'll remember that. As far as a hospital tank, the only option I had for one I gave to my brother to house feeder fish for his piranha, and that is definitely not the place I want to put any fish of mine. I'll definitely get some medication though and since I can't remove him should I...

    Gold Sev Issue

Ok, Ph is at 7, Ammonia at 0, Nitrite at 0, and Nitrate seemed a little high at 20 so I did a 40% water change. The temperature of the tank is 78 degrees F, and the size is 75 gallons. He is a little under half grown as most of my fish are, me being pretty new at this and all, so even though...
