my betta often 'chills out' I have read somewhere that their fins are quite heavy and so wear the fish out a tad from time to time.

tuna salmon cod haddock love it!

hes in now and appears to be enjoying the new found space!!! looks like he'll have to get used to currents tho - hes got a filter now! chuffed hes in there now and out of the hellbowl would take pics but the backdrop of the tank is page 3 girls lol

the bowl will probably be used for water changes etc - no fish going to live in there!

no idea what kind he is - perhaps someone can tell me - here is a pic as you can see his bowl is pretty pants! :X

Ive got a 15 gallon tank with filter which is currently establishing My goldfish as lived 6 months in a crap bowl which has always been cruel i think - so im moving him into the tank - he will still be on his own but with room to move will he be okay to just swap over? any major tips advice...

i have a sony eriksson k750i camera phone - 2.0 mega pixel with auto focus - can take really great pics if the lighting is good! didnt know the sucking loach can grow to 10 inches tho eeek

fish returned safe and well

certainly bears a resemblance just goes to show car design is very samey and trend driven

after continued fighting - and one of the tetra's fighting back i have isolated the tetra's in a plastic bowl thats floating on the surface in the tank until first thing 2moro morning when I will return the poor things - hope they are going to be ok after this ordeal :sad: u live and learn

i think ive just got a really aggressive minded betta hopefully the fish will last the night does anyone know if the tetra's will fight back and nip the betta's fins?

just spoken to the place I got em from they say its fine to return them. shame, they look great but it must be a very stressed tank at the moment

i think they are going to have to go back or there will be death they are all small finned not sure why the betta has taken so aggressively to them - perhaps its the colours

they are neon something tetra - they are orange with black markings near the gill and on fins they are getting bullied alot at the moment, should i consider returning them? :X

its a 9 gallon tank so not that big theres only him and 6 other fish tho it seems to have calmed down a bit now tho i think chan is just tired, been going mental for an hour!

my betta fighting fish is being very aggressive towards them, chasing them and flaring up alot, is this just because there are new fish in his territory? is the fighting likely to die down after time or do i have a problem on my hands - the new fish are rosey tetra's :/

was checking my fish this morn and it appears I have an outbreak of whitespot :( I have bought aquarium treatment anti whitespot plus and have begun treatment. It says that the 2nd treatment is on day 4 - but i think i remember reading somewhere on here that u treat 12 days in a row? can...

mine is indeed an import im the 1st UK owner its a 1996 1.8 S-SPEC II - lightened flywheel and torsen LSD & the higher compression 132PS engine What I like most about the car is its colour - is it green is it blue - depends on the light! :lol: :drool:

his fin on the top of his body always seems a bit limp compared to some of the fish ive seen on these boards - initially i wondered if this was health related - he continued to be very active today - not his usual self - chilling out sat on leaves :D :lol:

today hes been swimming around loads parading himself to his tank mates lol def has a personality about him i will post some pics of him soon... :cool:

Hi everyone got my first siamese fighting fish on sunday - amazing looking thing is it normal for them to spend most of their time resting on leaves/gravel? Is he just getting used to his new environment or do I have a sick fish? Seems to look healthy - perhaps he is just very lazy? cheers...
