Hello everyone, I have a pair of convicts that laid eggs awhile back and a week ago they hatched. The fry are getting bigger everyday and im wondering now when do i have to seperate the fry from the parents? I want to keep the fry and i am worried the parents will want to breed again and eat...

I currently have 3 yellow labs in a 40 gallon tank with some other tank mates and i noticed that all three have eggspots on their anal fins now...is this a sign that their breeding or what?

Oh trust me I have already tried that...they wont take them back because their fins are tattered. They nip at eachother all the time but no harm has ever come from it in the 8 months ive had them

well ive tried it...i have two yellow labs in there now with the two tetra....one male and one female lab. There have been no signs of aggression for the past day. Sometimes the tetra chase the labs :huh:

Nope...nothing has been added to this tank besides some other tank water from a 10 gallon i have...could mature tank water cause a bacterial bloom already after only two days of being set up?

I have started up a new 50 gallon cichlid tank that is currently empty at the moment. It is not cycled or anything and i have it setup and running. I have noticed over the past two days that the water is getting really cloudy...its a milky white color...i have no idea what this could be from...

I just went out behind my house to gather some rocks for my new cichlid tank and i have scrubbed them down and now im boiling them. The problem is the rocks have lichen all over them and i cant get it completely off...will this be a problem for the tank? I was thinking about soaking them in...
