are you say where you takeing water to be test tell u should not have was bacteria in the water try take water for test to other shop as i think you do need some bacteria in your fish tank

i not long start use it and find it help as my tap water his hard and i have use aquasate to put in tap water cost being £13.95 and r o water costing £2.00 see one i will use now and it keep hardest down more to i try to keep ph to 7.5 and gh to lows sometime his 8 when it gos green

take than back and test your water i would not buy any pet from pet at home just food and bedding for my ferrets

thank u not real friendly here are u i have look at the polyfilter today and it turn bit blue which mean they copper salts in the waterr so that mean it in the tap water i use . and i do not have light on tank only light from room and out side light like the sun ...../ :byebye: :cool:
