HITH? He did have a few white bumps that looked like they were coming from underneath his skin (?) on his face. The per shop person said it was likely a parasite.

I had an ADF with a betta and the ADF never got to eat anything. I tried feeding the betta while feeding the ADF (to distract the betta), giving food the the ADF directly with a baster, putting extra food in so there would be something left over for the ADF. None of it worked! The betta gobbled...

I'm keeping up with this string as well ... I just have nothing else to add.   In a different post I made, other people told me NOT to use salt - apparently there is quite a debate about it ... but my betta didn't have velvet so I'm not implying you shouldn't. I do know you shouldn't keep adding...

Quick update - Jack no longer has any white spots. He does still have that light blue spot on his lip *shrug*

The tank is 2 gal. I have a 10 gal that I will be cycling before transferring Jack. I have everything ready except for the test kit and ammonia. Here are the latest pics of Jack. I hope to track his fin re-growth in this journal :)

pretty sure it is a fungal infection :( This morning there is grey white stuff around both his fin/gill area. Totally horrible picture, but the best I could do while getting 3 kids ready to go to school/daycare.   What do I do for this?
