Jack - The Great White

Jack apparently saw shark week. Today when my son fed him (under my supervision), jack jumped up and out of the water - successfully catching one of the pellets during the jump.

It was surprising and pretty cool - but makes me very glad his little critter keeper tank has a lid!

Ooh yes, mine like to do that too, I'm paranoid about them jumping out when I'm completing tank maintenance!

I feed my Betta girl frozen (thawed) bloodworms twice a week. I use some plastic tweezers that came with a first aid kit to hold the little worm. Sometimes she gets so impatient she does not even wait for me to submerge it and she jumps up to catch it while the tweezers are just above the water surface!
