Well I enjoy my boy Red so much that Now I'm seriously considering buying another tank. I was going to upgrade my 45 gallon to a 55 or 75 gallon tank but My LFS has Aqueon Evolve tanks on sale, I think its like 55 bucks for a Evlove 8. This tank line:

I have/had the evolve 2 and its a nice tank and setup for the money, sadly My ex-girlfriend has her betta in it after I broke her little betta bowl and insisted she put hers in my tank. So I doubt I'll get that back lol but anyways the number one reason I'm considering getting another tank, is this beauty right here..

:yahoo: Good idea on wanting another, the one you linked to is a beauty!

What size are those Aqueon tanks?
As long as they're the suitable size they look like a great tank!

I didn't know what to say when I first saw him. I thought it looked like he was wearing a suit of armor.. I'd definatly name him Sparticus lol

Well they are a 2 gallon, 4 gallon, or 8 gallon. But thats total volume I believe and it has a built in filter chamber in the back of the tank. The nice thing is it comes with everything but a heater and you can fit the heater in the back filter compartment. The light is also pretty good. If anyone is looking into a small all in one tank, I would recommend this line of tanks.

The 8 gallon would be the best IMO if you can fit it
Oh yes thats the one I'd get. The only problem is I've never ordered fish online before and I don't have a clue about it. Quite frankly I'm a little scared to order fish online because of that..

I've never ordered fish online either but I think that at long as it is a reputable online seller everything should be okay :)
Just make sure you acclimate him properly.

That boy is truly stunning. I will be very jealous of you if you end up getting him :p
I have also not ordered fish online, but have heard good things. Like Blondie said, so long as the seller is reputable and you acclimate properly, all should go well.
Nice looking tanks you linked as well.

I've ordered many a fish online, locally and internationally. The breeder you are looking into has an excellent reputation. They've got good reviews on aquabid. I wouldn't worry much about the ordering process. It's quite easy. I've never lost a fish through shipment yet. Of course, you will need to look into trans-shippers. I used Jesse from Florida. He was really helpful.

Wow - there are some nice fish on that site! If you do end up buying one, let me know how the whole shipping thing works :)

Thanks so much Atti! you just gave be a lot of confidence. Can you explain a little bit about a trans-shipper though? I looked on the site and I'm in Wisconsin so I'd be between Jesse and the one In Colorado.

I've got a few Picked out Incase this boy isn't snapped up by the time I get to him

Hi, he is beautiful !!!  I have purchased many Betta online and have never had a problem.....all arrived safe and healthy....
Let the breeder know which trans-shipper you choose.....you can email/call the trans-shipper you choose to find out cost etc. at least
that is what I did, and it worked out fine.

Before you buy your betta, you'll want to contact a trans-shipper. Most of them respond best by email. They'll give you a list of dates that they are picking up fish from customs and then you pick your pick up day. It will typically cost you five dollars to get your fish from overseas to the States. This five dollars is paid to your breeder. Then your trans-shipper will collect all the fish, sort them out, check for DOAs, that sort of thing and bring them home. Jesse gives the fish a few days of a break before mailing them again. He changes their water and that sort of stuff before sending them out. Then you pay something like forty dollars for your fish to get from your trans-shipper to you.

Either way, you'll want to know which trans-shipper you want to use first because your breeder has to tell the trans-shipper exactly how many fish are going to a single shipper. Your breeder will want to know which one you've chosen upon purchase. Then, you'll do most of your communications with your trans-shipper, but always ask the breeder about their shipping processes. But basically that's it. :)
