I always left my fish to do it naturally, because that way if some fry got eaten, it was good, because I didn't have to worry about finding homes for 60 fry, but I still got a few healthy fry. Plus, it's fun to catch them. :blush: Good luck. :good:

My danios clamp their fins from time to time, but unclamp them when they aren't as stressed out. Normally they'll clamp their fins out of stress, but sometimes it can be a disease (parasite). (But they won't gradually unclamp them if it is a disease, you'll have to treat it.) Zebra danios spawn...

Hey guys! I am probably getting a 39 gallon aquarium off of a second-hand site, and I got the dimensions from the person who is selling it, and the tank is 30.25" by 13.5" by 22" and the stand is 29.5" by 13.5" by 28.25" I find that a little weird that the stand is smaller than the tank...

Thanks. I feed her pellets too - shrimp pellets and algae discs. I target feed, too. She doesn't seem very interested in the food, but once it falls to the bottom, she picks at it a little bit. I don't see her producing much waste, either. Do you think she'll die of starvation, or is she getting...

I'd have to say my aquarium vacuum. It makes life 10x easier. Before I had it, I spent 3 hours doing a not so effective water change on one aquarium. Now it takes me maybe an hour to do all six (or seven?) of my aquariums. :lol:

Okay, my krib is acting a little weird now. I have made those DIY coconut caves for her, and one in particular she always hides inside. And every time one of my juvie swordtails swims close to her, she chases him away. It's like she's defending the cave already. I shone a flashlight inside once...

Here's my entry.... I guess..... It's my 17 gallon full planted tank.... The water is brown from the tannins that I didn't completely boil out of the coconut caves that I made, and I want them there, because it's supposed to be an Amazon River Replica - Without the natural gravel, of course...
