39 Gallon Second-Hand Tank?

Hey guys! I am probably getting a 39 gallon aquarium off of a second-hand site, and I got the dimensions from the person who is selling it, and the tank is 30.25" by 13.5" by 22" and the stand is 29.5" by 13.5" by 28.25"

I find that a little weird that the stand is smaller than the tank.... Here's a pic....

Is that okay, or will the tank like, collapse or something? lol

Should be ok. Its got a brace bar on it too, which should distribute the tank weight evenly

my tank is an old shop tank and the stand is a jewel stand and it slightly overhangs on both side its a 3 and a half foot tank but been on stand for well over a year with no probs
