a 10 gallon tank will not cut it for a breeding pair of cons its too SMALL!!!!! go out andget a bigger tankif you have the money..

the PH up and down products are just a quick fix and wont last long then your back to the same old problem, ive also heard those chemicals will make you have false readings. IMO I wouldnt trust using them get your readings were they belong the right way water changes , tank maintanence ect..

the rosie barbs in my wifes tank hang with the rest . but your playing with fire having the cons in there. especialy when the cons start to mate.. mating convict will likely equal dead barbs......

Well since you didnt cycle I would guess the reason for the fish loss is that you overloaded your biosystem and had a spike of some kind. I believe its explained in the cycling article. Basically there was too many fish in the tank to soon and they poisioned themselves with body waste. Sorry...

Did you cycle the tank before adding the 15 fish?? If not that may be the reason for all the fish loss.

you can also just get the tank and look around for good deals on equipment to save money. also I suggest checking ebay for equipment they have alot listed rather cheap on there. Ive bought powerheads, plants and other things at a steal on ebay.

I would say absolutely no way!!! Rams get about 3" full grown I believe and are very peaceful fish. Can be kept in community tanks. The convicts get larger and are very aggressive for their size, VERY aggressive.. Even when fairly small they have a mean streak. You could try it when the cons...

youve never heard of dechlorinator???? it is the chemical that is used to get rid of the chlorine in your water. It is needed as chlorine kills fish.

ok another question how much salt do you add/have you added? I dont think salt dissapears from the tank is it possible you have to high of a salt content?????

The bare minimum for 1 is around 45 gallons id go with a larger tank if at all possible to give it more room and you some space to get another fish in the tank

Alot depends on the tank size they are all in, the bigger the tank the better off youd be. Can they go with the fish you mentioned yes. But keep an eye on them.and be prepared to pull them at the first sign of major trouble. most of the Firemouthes ive had would do fine with your other fish...

60 liters I believe thats around 15 US gal. First I want to say your tank is over stocked for that size. The Angel as you stated gets rather big. He will eventually kill your other fish most likely as he grows. Also I believe angels are known for fin nipping so your guppies may be in trouble...
