Hi- yep everytime I update the forum software it resets to their setting of the box not automatically being checked to add it to the sent items! I then have to manually go in and make an edit to the code, I'll try and do this tomorrow morning, failing that I'm away til Thursday- but will resolve...

You're absolutely right- very annoying! I did upgrade the software to the latest version yesterday- however, see no evidence of the bug listed on their site... However, I also got midway through installing a modification before I had to stop so that may also have set it off- I'll see if I can...

I have looked at this thread, and don't see anything that warrants attention. I will however, say if anyone is curious that sp00ky's web address has been removed it was due to persistent abuse of the rules of the rules. We try and be leniant which sometimes makes for the appearance of mod's...

Agree... the start was pretty decent, but then it just went seriously downhill the middle and end were just dreary. If it were condensed perhaps 5 minutes of it were worth watching, which is less than you get in most tv episodes.

I've just reduced this to 20 seconds. :)

A little sensational isn't it! Given that most of the places with CCD are deep in the country, I'm somewhat surprised with the conclusion they have reached here!

No real reason, it was originally a concern that a fast reply button may lead to shorter messages, single word and smilie posts. This doesn't seem to be the case (although no doubt a string of such replies will appear below!). So it's something we will look to expand in other sections in the future.

I think I should just clarify here. When a topic gets pulled from a public forum, a headsup to the other mods is made in the mods forum. In this case SH said: "wasn't happy about this thread. Feel free to reopen it if anyone feels otherwise.". There were obviously no objections to this action as...

I think I've sorted it now. The main visitors to my garden would be wrens, blue and great tits, blackbirds, robins, sparrows and woodpigeons.

As it happens Neale the other day I also noticed two mallard drakes on the roof of the house next door.

I think it's possible that the rising population of badgers may be the explanation. Certainly they have been associated with the demise of hedgehogs in some parts of England.

I recently ordered from greenline aquatics ( http://www.aquaticplants.eu.com/ ). I thought the plants were of reasonable quality and considering the price I paid I was very pleased. They arrived the next day (I think they always ship on Tuesdays).

Bingo- worked it out, there was another member with the name gooner (now renamed gooner2). Basically in the past there was a bug in the forum which allowed two people to register with the same name... Anyway- my guess is that he (inactive since day of joining 1 year ago) has your PM's sitting...

This is odd, in the top right hand corner- where it says how many PMs you have it's not a minus number is it?

Ok, it's a bug in the forum software. I've applied a fix for it, but I'm not sure if it resets the existing message count. If not then please request the number of PMs to be sent and hopefully someone will oblige. Once done this problem should not crop again. (fingers crossed).

I upgraded the forum software today... off to read to see if anyone else has had this issue.
