My Messenger Not Working

Have been advised that a Pm was sent from "slowthing" at 2:30 pm today and have not received it. Have also sent a test message to myself and that hasn`t arrived either.

Is there a delay in transmitting messages or have I got something set up wrong?

This is odd, in the top right hand corner- where it says how many PMs you have it's not a minus number is it?

No its not a minus. It has always been 0 New Messages.
I have never had any messages even though I have sent them to myself to see if anything was set-up wrong.
Just had another check, and in my board settings it is enabled "No" to "Disable your personal messenger?"
Can you actually go into my Control Panel to check the obvious that I haven`t set it up wrong?


Edit: Maybe I have never been sent a Pm (Nobody Likes Me)
Could someone send me a Pm to see if it arrives.

Bingo- worked it out, there was another member with the name gooner (now renamed gooner2). Basically in the past there was a bug in the forum which allowed two people to register with the same name...

Anyway- my guess is that he (inactive since day of joining 1 year ago) has your PM's sitting in his inbox.

edit... since we can be fairly sure he isn't coming back (no posts) i changed his password and logged in, sure enough he does have your messages- 12 of them to be precise, i will pm you the password to this account- so you can have these historical ones, but in the future it should work fine.
