Good Site To Try To Id A Cory?

Almost sounds like C. ehrhardti. But, if you say it looks like C. aurofrenatus, then Im way off.

    Serpae Tetras And Tiger Barbs

Both of those fish are fin nippers. With a tank that size, you might want to choose one or the other.

    Brochis Britskii

Guess no one else liked the picture  They are in with Brochis multiradiatus, Corydoras similis, Corydoras duplicareus, Corydoras weitzmani and the Cherry Barbs I got yesterday. I have not tried to spawn any of the Brochis. I would like to, because they seem to be a rare fish.

My Old Tank Is Now A Cory Tank (with Pics)

Just good tank maintence and water changes. Live foods, like blackworms, will help too. It might take a long time for them to get settled in. I know it has taken some people a year or more to get some cories to spawn. You have a nice sized group, so that will help too.

    Tiger Loach

Tiger loaches are not rare, but they are very nasty. Not a good idea to keep one and probably not a good idea to keep them with YoYo loaches. Its also not a good idea to keep just one of those either. Tiger Loaches get up to 12". A very pretty loach, but also a very mean one. They need lots...

Imposter In A Shoal Of Congo Tetras

Thats what I was thinking too. Looks like those blue Tetras. If not, its something very similiar.

    New! Random Pics

haha! I need to take some new pictures, but havent gotten around to it. I did post these today: http://www.fishforums.net/content/Members-...4/Cherry-Barbs/ How many C. schultzei Black do you have? I saw Frank had some more up for auction recently.

    Peppered Coryies Spawned

Congratulations on the spawning. If you are really wanting some fry, then put the parents in another tank and move them after they spawn. You will have a lot more success that way. C. paleatus will eat their eggs quickly, so keep an eye one them. Good Luck with the new fry :good:
  16. Barracuda518

    Omg Omg Omg

That sounds good. You will have litte C. panda all over the place before you know it. Once they start spawning, they will do it on a regular basis  Like Jollysue said, just keep up with the tank maintence, and you should be fine.

My Old Tank Is Now A Cory Tank (with Pics)

They look like C. sodalis to me too. Dont get discouraged about the breeding. They might spawn for you. You will never know if you dont try. Nice fish :good:

    Cherry Barbs

I went to the LFS to get some fish today and saw these. I couldnt help but get some. Thanks for looking :D

    Flag Tailed Catfish

These fish really need to be kept in large groups to make them feel secure. Couple of pictures:

    Issues With Conditioning Cories

That sounds like a pretty good group. Just keep feeding them and hopefully they will spawn for you. There is really no way to tell. The chances are probably higher they would spawn if they were in a species only tank, but you never know.

    My Delphax Are Dancing

It would probably do well with any Corydoras from the C. elegans group. Just make sure they dont interbreed. As for the C. delphax, it looks like 2 males and a female to me.

    C.melanotaenia

Yep, I think thats the one. Did they have a lot of loaches for sale?

    Do Corys Eat Cucumber

Mine won't eat either of those. They get flake food, brine shrimp sticks, earthworm sticks, Boyd's Vita Diet, algae wafers, frozen blood worms, live blackworms, and Tetra Tetramin Tropical Tablets. I also will give them Hikari sinking wafers and carnivore pellots. Not all at the same time...

    Cory Pictures

Sorry, I didnt see the reply. This is a old thread. What made you bring it back up? Those fry are long gone. I kept some of them and traded the rest. I still have the group since they were the first group I ever got to spawn. They spawn every week, but I never get the eggs out. I didnt...

    Issues With Conditioning Cories

You have a group of 25 orange lasers? Or do you want to spawn them to add to the group? As for getting them to spawn, they arent the easiest Corydoras to spawn. Just keep feeding them the live foods and doing the water changes and hopefully they will eventually. What is your male to female ratio?

Which Maidenhead Aquatics did you go to? If its the one I think it is, then you are very lucky to be able to shop there. They have very healthy fish and a knowledgeable staff. Nice Fish :good:

    Cory With One Eye.

I also have a Albino C. Aeneus like this, except I got it this way. This fish had lost both of its eyes and was in a tank all by itself sitting in a corner. I asked the worker if I could have it and they let me take it since no one was going to buy it. Ive had it for about 2 years now and it...

My Clowns Love The New Fishroom

Very nice! Thats a great size tank for clowns. :good: Skinny clown loaches is not usually a good sign. If they dont bulk up and just get length, then they might have internal parasites that are eating all the nutriton the loach takes in. Mine are around 4-5 inches and are very fat. They...

    My Fish Room

Those are Gold Dojo Loaches. My clowns come out by the time of the day. They know when its time to eat, because when I go to the room where their tank is to feed them at the same times every day, they are sitting there waiting on me. I will have to go check out your clown loach pictures.

    My Fish Room

Hey Jollysue, They are doing great. A couple of them, like yours, seem to scratch their noses on things, but they heal very quickly. That makes me happy because I know the water is healthy. Oh and just like you said, they had that nicely planted tank tore up in 3 days  I want to...

    Tiger Barbs And Polkadot Loaches...

I have been keeping a school of 6 Tiger Barbs with my Clowns like Mike said and they are together all the time. I think it helps with the aggression because the clowns are so much bigger then the barbs and the barbs think they are big tiger barbs. I havent really thought about them with other...

Hey Jollysue, The fish room looks great. Thats a lot of tanks  I can see how that can keep you very busy.

    Dwarf Loaches

Nice loaches. Does the loach in that first picture always have its fins clamped on its body? Or is that just a picture of it swimming really fast?

    Cory Fry Tank

Frank also sent me some nice Red Ramshorn Snails. Just be prepared to have a lot of them as they reproduce quickly. He sent me 15 and now I bet I have 100 throughout my tanks.

    New Corys! W/pics

Nice Picture. I see several females in that group. The albino looks to be a female too. You will soon learn that this species is very active. Mine never stop roaming the tank and glass.
