I moved my Bronze C. Aeneus out of my 55 gallon with the loaches to one of my 30 gallons with the albinos the other day. I havent seen them this happy in a long time. Its easy to say they dont like the big loaches. I have also said before that they wont school with albinos, and I was also wrong about that too

Anyways a couple of pics:

Just to tell you how happy they are, I just found about 20 eggs :good:

Lovely little cories you have there. I miss our bronze group we had, but laying 200 eggs every few days was just too hectic. I rescue everything. They look very happy with the new setup. :good:

:D

Thanks everyone. I have raised several batches of bronze cories so far. I wasnt going to mess with these until I found more eggs. I dont even know how many there are now! Im hopeing to get some females out of this batch. Im going to try the breeding net thing this time.

Hi Barracuda518 :)

Those are some nice, healthy looking fish you have there! :flex: It's no wonder they keep spawning for you.

Do you have a regular lfs who buys the young ones?

I sure do! No worries there. The problem is finding the room to raise them all

EDIT: I think they are in the T-Position in that third picture....

Well some of the eggs have hatched and the rest are hatching as we speak. I was taking some of the fungused eggs out and saw them zipping around. Its amazing how small they are when they first hatch :fun:

There are I would guess about 10 right now, with about 20 eggs or so that still have to hatch. They are too small for pics right now, but hopefully I can get some of them later this week once they start eating microworms :good:

How are these guys and their fry doing?
How did you do with the net?

That first pic is lovely

Answers!!! I want answers now! :flex:

How dare you ignore your own thread. I managed to accidentlly turn off my wireless reception last night, so I was unable to download some of the other pics I took. I imagine it will be next week now. How is Frank? I think of him. My guppys are taking over. haha

Sorry, I didnt see the reply. This is a old thread. What made you bring it back up?

Those fry are long gone. I kept some of them and traded the rest. I still have the group since they were the first group I ever got to spawn. They spawn every week, but I never get the eggs out.

I didnt have much success with the net. One batch I only got 3 to survive. I like the seperate tank method much better.

Here are some from the group:

Actually I probably happened on the thread in that new bottom section, and I thought it was from last summer and it is from a year and a half ago! haha
