I'm tired, so if I can't remember a Cory name, I will add it later.

A mixed tank of juvies--attempting to get a shot of the schultzii blacks that is more than a black blob. Pretty much unsuccessful in this batch, but there is a batch waiting in the wings to be edited.

But from this shot, it looks like I have a young female. That is very good!

I love the way lady Corys roll over on their bellys and lift their chins and noses to look at you! Do you see her?

Is she smiling or skeptical?

This tank is in constant motion. It is a mix of Brochis splendens, C. sterbai, C. pantanalensis, C. melanotaenia

Brochis splendens aka emerald Corys--the ones with the green sheen--and C. pantanalensis--the spotted ones--are 3"+

Brochis splendens/Emerald Corys are available in pet stores. The pantanalensis are harder to get.

Hi jollysue :)

Very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us.

The pics take much less editing with the new camera. But I had to pump up my computer oomph to get anything done at all. My older computers just sat and froze up on me.

Anyway....

I enjoy these big colorful guys and thought you might too. When the tanks get moved around, I want to put these big boys in with the huge B. multiradiatus with a larger footprint and see how they do. My multiradiatus are in a 25 tall and a couple just keep their noses raw all the time trying to move the tank to where there would be more worms. And are they spoiled! They can't be bothered with discs or frozen. But they do look forward to the worms.

How are yours doing?

I will try to edit and load some more pics tonight.

What do you race, darkwolf?

They are all beautiful, but you know where this is going... :shifty:
Those blacks are gorgeous!!!
If that is a lady... you need to start planting the idea now. Tell her every day... "Amanda wants babies." :D
How many blacks do you have? I have forgotten.
They are a lot bigger than they were in the last pics I saw. :good:

Very Nice :good:

I really like the Brochis splendens, C. sterbai, C. pantanalensis, C. melanotaenia tank. Those C. pantanalensis sure are nice :)

Yes it is a eye catcher. As I said I would like to combine them with the B. multis. Perhaps without the melanotaenia and who knows with the sterbai?

I am waiting for the tanks to get arranged before I start chanting "Breed today! Breed today!" to any of the fish. I am not even checking for eggs. I barely saw the guppys. But it will be soon. I did harvest a few LFbronze. They were just so insistent. But I just put them in a net with algae and moss and they are on their own. Live or die is up to them and the green water.

not quite sure but i think it may of been me probaly not
lovely cories i like the black one, we have got some brochis in at the moment not may people buy them which is puzzling since they have some nice green on them.
