New! Random Pics

I'm sorry, jarcher. May have been you what?

My lps has asked specifically for Brochis splendens aka emerald Corys. So far I have not worked on breeding them and they have not volunteered.

Great pics. Sorry if you've mentioned it but what size tanks do you have?

The tank with the young ones, including the blacks is a 10 usg. The tank with the large guys is a 40 tall. I have tanks from betta bowls to a 125 usg. My Corys are in tanks ranging from 10 usg to 50 usg. Well, there are some in the 100 usg community tank, too.

There is a thread with pics of the new fish room.

The panda juvies are in a 20 L with some LF bronze juvies, a couple of albino peppers and a shoal of Galaxy Rasaboras and ICEEGRL's plants.

I'm sorry I missed your request. I was actually giving Barracuda as an excuse to post pics. But they are for you too!

I hope to post some more tonight.

I have 5 blacks, I believe, from Frank. It looks like I have 2 females and 3 males. I am on hold buying any fish to be shipped. The shipping is outrageous. I want some more of the Galaxys from Bryan, but I just can't justify the shipping. I end up spending $300 to $500 every time I order. Although I must admit the Betta wild species from Bryan are tempting.

I have all the Corys I want for now--except for the C. gossei.

I have only had so-so luck acclimating Frank's fish. His water must be very different than mine. My water is fairly hard with high ph. The blacks and Weitzmani have done well. but I have taken heavy losses in the rest.

Nice shots of the barbs. You got them from Bryan? I got some of the little spotted ones and they all died one and two a day. That was just way too expensive. I should have gotten the Cherries. But the Galaxies did well. I am pleased with them.

Wow JollySue

Those are gorgeous pics. They are really stunning cories. Those black one's look like they've grown loads. My lot are also growing fast now. I did unfortunately loose one the other day  , but it was really small and didn't grow with the rest. So I also have 5 now.

:D

Hi AlexAndCarmen! hehe My new grandson is Alexander. :D
Glad your blacks are doing good. Do you have a female?
Thanks, you are always so encouraging and positive. :*

There are some black worms in there too. :)
The pandas have staked out the red cloth plant as their shade tree.

Oh yes the Galaxys

But if you look closely, under the red cloth plant you will find some pandas.

Hi JollySue

Congrats on the new grandson :hyper: . Hubby of course loved his name :hey:

I'm not too sure about the sex of our lot. One is definitely a lot bigger than the rest, making me think it's possibly a female. But I haven't seen them all out together, over planted tank I think. Too many hiding spots. But they all look gorgeous and same as you, hopefully they'll breed.

Cute pandas. They're still one of my favorites. Some of my babies from a while back have started spawning. I found some eggs and a fry in my tank, so have a baby and eggs in my baby net. Too darn cute for their own good.

And not worries, it's easy to be encouraging and positive to you, you're such a lovely lady. :*

:D

I this one you can see the greatly debated C. julii and the C. areio and, of course always ready for a show, C. aeneus juvies.

Aaaw, those Galaxies are too cute. How many have you got?

Love the new pics. I can see some plumper Black cories there too. Fingers and toes crossed you get some nippers from them.

I think I got 15 of the Galaxys. I want to get another 15. I lost one or two in the first days. Bit they did remarkably well. They are suppose to be sensitive, but they are doing really well for me in my hard water. I got another rarer fishy at the same time and every one died within days.

What kind of Plecs do you have Carmen?
