Really? Surely you can frag sun coral cant ya? If not then jsu stick with what you can get like zoas and shrooms. I'm sure sooner or later you'll get hold of one. I searched everywhere for months before I finally found a shop that had just the one in and I bought it straight away! ;)

Cant you get them to frag one so you can have a half or less? Also I'm not saying get it straight away, it's just sumat you can keep your esyes peeled for when ever your out fish shopping! ;)

Looking good pal. Keep it up ;) I think you should get a few bright coloured zoanthid colonies as I find them really attractive and I believe they will add even more colour to your tank. Also a couple of ricordeas or normal shrooms would be good as well... :)

You will have to wait till both your nitrite and ammonia are 0 before you can really add anything! Your tank can take months if not years to actually "mature". But dont worry about that yet otherwise it will confuse you. Just take it one step at a time...

Thanks for all the input and info guys. I'm not too keen on getting an anemone at present hence the post. I plan waiting till I have a bit more experience under my belt before getting one and hopefully in a bigger tank as well! I will have a look into the other corals as mentioned. Cheerz ;)

Other than anemones what other corals would make suitable hosts for clownfish? I have a 44 US gallon tank which has been set up for about 3months and was looking to get a pair of clownfish but was hoping to get a coral for them to host and live in as I am quite fascinated by their behaviour...

I totally agree as each section should have it's own mod who specialises in that specific catogary. This way everybody would know who to turn to for help and it would be easier for the mods to participate in most threads as it would mean less work looking through all the areas...

Firstly I'm well happy to say the firefish survived it's first night in my tank which gave me a big sigh of relief as I was realy worried my may go missing overnight and secondly I just fed it some frozen brine and mysis and luckily it aint a finicky eater and started to eat straight away. :D...
