Have just had to give up my cream angel as it got way to aggresive with my corals (actually lost 2 because of it!) so am now looking for what else I can add, my tank is 30 uk gallons and so far I have 2 percular clowns some damsels and a royal grammer, so would love to put something in with real character, have looked at a chromis and biker blenny but want something a little more colourful, as i said though it really has to be ok with my corals as cannot go through that agian!

Any suggestions

Checkout a midas or tailspot blenny. SH

Thanks SH will look them up, its just so difficult to know what to get as when you go to your LFS they have what they have but can order anything in! then i get stuck with what to purchase

No Catalina gobies please... they are temperate and will not survive long in a tropical tank. Perhaps neon gobies or shrimp gobies would be a better option.

Cardinals are nothing near becoming extinct, though it is always best to buy captive bred animals.

How about some fairy wrasses, or a possum wrasse?

i vote a possum wrasse or flasher wrasse! or how about the mixmatch oddball that is a pajama cardinal.

depends on your definition of near..... They are on the endangered list last time i checked, but some may not call that near, others may.

My concerns with wrasse is that although there are undoubtedly some reef safe wrasse they all tend to have an agressive/boystrous nature which gives ma a little concern, as for triggers of any sort i didnt think that any were reef safe?
