There is no new tank and I'm just "restocking"... as for the serpaes ive heard they can be nippy but would they really nip at a fish bigger then them maybe ill but 8 serpae I really don't want to be over stocked...I could add 8 serpaes and 8 black skirts as for the cories I'm not 100% sure yet

Your tank is not cycled there for ammonia and not sure if its nitrate or nitrite that are high and stressing your fish

If your getting the dwarf gourami it would have to be 1 male 1 female and you wouldn't be able to get a Siamese fighter other then that everything else seems fine

Well my opaline are about 2 inches big and ive had them for about a year already and they look the same ive heard they get about 4 in I might just not get corys and give the ones I have away my filter is an aquaclear and I do water changes every Sunday The dimensions for my 55 is 48x13x21

Someone before on this forum said to me that it could be an itch of there's any redness then its cause for concern other than that it may be an itch...some of my fish do it as well but not often

some fish get injected with color to make then come out more blood parrot fish for example
