Powder Blue Gourami Problem

My powder blue gourami (in a twenty gallon tank with guppies, platies, Kuhli loaches, and zebra danios)has these strange markings on his head. they have just showed up. they are like tiny, deep scratches and appear black. He eats normally and swims normally. Is he okay, or is he sick?
