I believe Ich can indeed hitchike on shrimp. If Ich can attach to rocks and plants then they can attach to shrimp. You should take the shrimp out and put them into their own tank for about 2 weeks increasing the temp to around 80F. I would not put them into another tank filled with fish.

I use internal filters that have air injection so I could control the amount of air bubbles created. I usually keep the output slightly below the water level so evaporation doesn't cause it to end up above the water level which causes splashing.

The water that surrounds the heater should be able to disipate the heat sufficiently to prevent the plastic container wall from deforming as long as the heater doesn't have any direct contact.

Salt water is more conductive to electricity so it's more of a concern. For FW a grounding probe is necessary.

Yeah I'll test it outside 3/4 filled with water and about 10 lbs of gravel on level cement with towels wrapped around it so if it collapses that'll help it from shattering all over the place.
