Well since I allready have that single bar right now, when I buy the twin strip bar I can put the single strip on there aswell If I have room.I hope! and then I would have 25 more watts..it might not be an insane amount but every little bit helps :)

Is too much bubbles a bad thing? I have a visi-jet protein skimmer and it constently spits out tiny bubbles..Then my power head blows them around the tank and my clowns don't really like going near it..I have had this problem before with a power head when I had an airated tube coming out and...

awesome. What exactly is pourus? becuase I have two differen't types of base rocks..one is a whiteish baegish colour and the other is like redish maroon.

I just read in on one of the subjects here that if you have mainly live rock in your set up, and the odd piece of base rock then it will turn into live rock as your tank matures....is this true? I might have read it wrong cause im a bit tired :S so can someone please correct me if im wrong?! thanks

yeah im looking into buying another twin lighting hood soon..but how can I control the algae? cause with all that light I can imagine that alot of algae wll be produced

I currently have a 25watt "Actinic spectrum marine glo" lighting my 33gal tank. I wish to put corral in my tank some time..but I have heard that I need atleast two light bars..but then again I have also heard that the marine glo is good enough for some tougher corals :huh: so I need some help...

Well Im cycleing my 33gal marine aquarium and I went to my pet store and he adviced that I use mollys to help cycle my tank. But my dad went to a diferen't pet store and they told him that it wasn't a good idea to use mollys because fresh water fish make differen't bacteria. So I have no clue...

Im starting up a marine tank and all I know about fish is pretty much just about Fresh water fish...so I want to know If I can use just Normal Aquarium salt to get the tank right. Or do I have to buy the other stuff?

yes i also agree with oscars agressiveness is overated. i rember when i was first getting into fish keeping i was worned constently about oscars being super agreesive and that i shouldn't keep then and a bunch more stuff but i decided to give them a try and i found there one of the best fish out...

well thats kinda why i think pacus aren't good for aquariums cause they grow so huge..like i would say the best aquariums for them are at big zoo's or large city public aquariums if not that then probably the wild

Well i can't say to much about the oscar not attacking your finger cause my two oscars don't attack me what so ever. but it might be just that they no me.i addvise you just to keep on trying with the cichlid pellets. sooner or later if the oscar just doesn't like them he'llprobably just start...

well maybe you can buy some feeder gupies to help spread some waste to start up the amonia cycle

i guess you could try feeding him frozen foods like brine shrimp and blood worms fish really love that stuff. And im sure if food was infront of him he could smell it, So i don't think its a eye sight problem.you never no he might be just sick of the flakes. So try the frozen food

well i had a 7 inch oscar in my big tank and i had two smaller oscars in a smaller tank who were about 4 inchs. i decided two put them in and take a chance and they lived for a long time execpt one of the smaller ones (witch are about 9 inchs now) got killed by his brother and my jack dempsey...
