dont keep the females in the trap until they're ready. maybe try and get a separate tank?

you should try and get a seperate tank for them, they need space to swim around, and grow big and strong, a breeders trap is just to small ): i hope you'd be able to D:

i don't think you should trap the fry, it doesn't really give them space to grow properly, D: maybe if you have another tank, you can put them in there, or chance it and let them try and survive your tank.

she looks like she's ready, good luck!! but don't keep her in the breeding trap for more than 24hrs, it's really stressful on them, you're suppose to put them in when they seem really ready or they might abort the fry, or so i heard. o.o;

max time you can leave them in there is 24 hrs. no more than that or they will get really stressed. it's probably best to put them in the net at the night time, and take em out during the day. or thats what i've heard.

it takes time for fish to give birth, just be patient, sometimes they take a while. another factor is that they are getting eaten. also it might be hard because of the big tank, but just make sure they have alot of cover, to hide from predators. ^^ good luck :]

this is the fish i see white dot on, it's at the end of her tail, where it is clear, i'm not sure if it was always there, but i can see it clearly in the light, you cant see in the photo, it's really hard to see. but there is some white spots, and like a line of white, its small D: but yeah...

my camera is dead. D: i didnt see any testing kit for those, should i try and get some? :{

my platy seems to have a few white spots on her tail i never noticed before, just on her tail though, they are a bit big like "o" that big or something, i'm not sure if its ick or something?!!?! its just on her a tail and only a couple, the other platies seem fine, i have 7 in the tank, what...

ahh, alright, well i'm still thinking about what to put in there, currently i want neons and platies, but i still have time to decide ^^;

i was wondering if i'd be able to keep platies and neon tetras together in there, if so, how many of each. if not... oh well. ^^;;

you should get platies! They're the cutest fish i ever seen, well IMO anyways. ^^ good luck with picking out the fish you want ^_^

the trap is called a breeding trap lulz :P

not all pregnancies are 30 days, some could last longer, so don't worry about it, it's normal. :)

uhm, i never heard of someone changing guppies into different fish before o.o!! but if you mean to get rid? maybe ask your LFS to take them back, or try and sell them, make a ad in ur local newspaper? maybe a friend?
