ho i got a 48x24x24 tank and looking for a co2 kit for sumone who knows not alot about them, im kinda after a pull from the box stick it to the tank and its pretty simple to use. Does such a thing exist? wot kit would u reccomend and where from? thanks for reading

i have apistograamas and rams, adding sum discus at a later date, great fish and dont grow to big or dig up ur plants.

i just had cocnut caves worked well, put 3 in my tank and they picked the one there preferred most, in the end i got rid of them i couldnt stop them breedin and had babies everywhere!!!

yer the discuss will be fine, im thinking about the 8 appistos and 2 keyhole cichlids. Though i read each male appisto needs about 18inch territory, and the female smaller but inside the males terriotories, wanted to no if there space left for keyholes or will the appistos chase them everywhere.

well my current tank is 28degrees but wen i get this tank just after xmas i will be sticking it on 29-30degrees. so you dont think thats to many fish fighting for different territories in that size tank?

Hi im wanting to buy some discus in the future for my 4x2x2 im after about 6 and cant afford to buy them fully grown, if i buy them at 2.5inches and only do say 40% water change with r/o water weekly does anyone know if there is a good chance they will die? i cant really do a higher water...

wen i done mine i got a 15liter bucket and filled 2/3 with sand, stuck the garden hose in there and constantly swirled it around with my hand letting the excess water and dirt just over flow out of the bucket. Worked well for me and water was crystal after the filter was on for about 4 hours.

Can i put any rocks i want into my fish tank that i find at the garden centre? jsut aslong as tehre cleaned properly?

yep i was after some floating plants but it doesnt say what you get in tehre set or how many, it just said Floaters, ill send them an email wen im readdy and give them ago.

nice my tank is also 48 but its 2 feet front to back, do you think one lot of 48inch is enough or should i seperatly order sum plants for the front?

well ive only been into fish keeping about 5 months now but im upgrading, when i went to the lfs i bought sum soil that jsut covered the bottom of my tank to a depth of about 2cm. My tank is 2foot 6 long and 15inches wide, the bag cost me £30 lol how deep is ur soil?

I have soil in my current tank but its expencive, jsut wondered if i need it in my bigger new tank, i want plants but will not have co2 to start with so i guess its worth getting the soil?

u should get 1 baby discus, and make sure u do daily water changes of atleast 50% lol
